MYSTERY BOYS VIDEO
The Mystery Boys video is the companion piece to the latest Church of Trees single. It is
an energetic performance-based music video that captures
the band in full swing.
The video was shot at Ottawa music venue Hummingbird Hall
with Fireside Creative's Benjamin Dionne in the director's chair.
Simple but effective, the band performs in a blackbox-style space
with dramatic lighting reminiscent of a Cure or Bauhaus performance.
The song, mixed by Mark Plati (who worked work with David Bowie
over the late 90s and early 2000s), features the scorching rhythm section of
drum wizard Gord McLaughlin and prog guitarist Nicholas Carriere.
A modern duet, the song is sung by bandleader/keyboardist Bernard Frazer
and powerhouse lead vocalist Stella Panacci.
The song is the lead single off Church of Trees' forthcoming album Thief of Joy,
and is available at churchoftrees.bandcamp.com, Youtube,
and on all streaming services.
